I think we should not have year round school because I think kids and teachers need a break from school and stress.

Why I think this because studies show that test scores from year round schools and traditional schools are the same there is nothing different about it. I do not attended year round school but I think the experience would be hard and tiring and you would never get a break. Summer time helps kids to grow and mature.
Year-round school also costs parents more because usually the older kids stay home and watch the younger siblings but they can't with year round school. Summer gives kids a time to recharge their brains and get ready for a fresh start for the upcoming school year.
With year-round school, teenagers will no longer be available, making parents to use daycares that cost lots of money each hour.
For their parts, teenagers may also find that a summer job is not possible with year round school, leaving them without saving and spending money or money for college.  They are forced to working during the school year which may lower grades because of working during the school year.
Teachers who depend on summer jobs outside the school, they can't earn money and they will also lose money.
Because it appears that saving money cannot be guaranteed, I do not believe schools should change to a year-round calendar. (White, W. D. L NASSP Bulletin, 72
In conclusion year round school changes a lot in your summer schedule. Summer is to be enjoyed not spent in class rooms. (Sally Student)

I remember when I was a baby
I had the best life
No school, no homework, no punishments
I loved sleeping and enjoying the life I had
I loved playing around with my brothers and running on my tiny legs and faloing on my face
I never had to worry to grow up and my life had to change.
I was so happy to run and play all day and jump around like there was no tomorrow!

"Demons"

When the days are cold
And the cards all fold
And the saints we see
Are all made of gold

When your dreams all fail
And the ones we hail
Are the worst of all
And the blood’s run stale

I wanna hide the truth
I wanna shelter you
But with the beast inside
There’s nowhere we can hide

No matter what we breed
We still are made of greed
This is my kingdom come
This is my kingdom come

When you feel my heat
Look into my eyes
It’s where my demons hide
It’s where my demons hide
Don’t get too close
It’s dark inside
It’s where my demons hide
It’s where my demons hide

At the curtain’s call
It's the last of all
When the lights fade out
All the sinners crawl

So they dug your grave
And the masquerade
Will come calling out
At the mess you've made

Don't wanna let you down
But I am hell bound
Though this is all for you
Don't wanna hide the truth

No matter what we breed
We still are made of greed
This is my kingdom come
This is my kingdom come

When you feel my heat
Look into my eyes
It’s where my demons hide
It’s where my demons hide
Don’t get too close
It’s dark inside
It’s where my demons hide
It’s where my demons hide

They say it's what you make
I say it's up to fate
It's woven in my soul
I need to let you go

Your eyes, they shine so bright
I wanna save that light
I can't escape this now
Unless you show me how

When you feel my heat
Look into my eyes
It’s where my demons hide
It’s where my demons hide
Don’t get too close
It’s dark inside
It’s where my demons hide
It’s where my demons hide

I love this song it gives me a sense of hope that everything will be alright.

1/9/14

I am not done with my essay but here it is

I think we should not have year round school because I think kids need time off to go to summer camp and hang out with friends and family. I think year round school is a bad idea because kids and teachers need a break from textbooks, classes, waking up early, etc. Why I think this because studies show that test scores from year round schools and traditional schools are the same there is nothing different about it. I do not attended year round school but I think the experience would be hard and tiring and you would never get a break. Summer time helps kids to grow and mature. Year-round school also costs parents more because usually the older kids stay home and watch the younger siblings but they cant with year round school. Summer gives kids a time to recharge their brains and get ready for a fresh start for the upcoming year.

There are additional reasons for not changing the traditional school calendar.  Summer time allows children to grow and mature, which may ultimately give them a new outlook for the upcoming school year and provide them with the chance for a fresh start.

Year-round education may also cost parents more, since new day care arrangements might have to be made.  Parents have relied on teenage siblings or babysitters who were always available during the summer months and who were willing to accept less than minimum wage.  With year-round schooling, these teenagers will no longer be available, forcing parents to use high-cost day care professionals all the time.  For their parts, teenagers may also find that a summer job is out of reach with a year-round system, leaving them without spending money or money for college.  They are forced then to choose the alternative -- working during the school term -- which may lower grades overall.  Teachers who depend on summer employment outside the school system to augment their income will also lose money.  Because it appears that saving money cannot be guaranteed, I do not believe schools should change to a year-round calendar.
